"The trip seems like a long time ago but the memories of the
destruction are still vivid. It was not an easy place to visit.
It only made me appreciate the hardships of living full-time in
a trailer or tent. We had a hotel but the usual comfortable ammenities
were non-existent. Mardi Gras was interesting and the levity seemed
to be a welcome diversion for everyone." —Greg Gorman
